APPLICATION

Application area On floors and walls both indoors and outdoors, for the creation of continuous decorative surfaces in homes, shops, restaurants, hotels, exhibitions, etc.

Product description

Mortar based on selected calcium and aggregate cements with powdered and fiberglass additives that give it excellent properties. Excellent adherence to any stable support, high hardness and flexibility. Indicated for the application of smoothing coats on very rough surfaces or wide joint tiles.

Surface preparation

The surface must have a minimum resistance of 1.5 N / mm, it must be clean, free of cracks, traces of oil, grease and paints as well as any contaminant that may prevent a correct adhesion to the support. In case of doubt, carry out previous tests. The support must always be prepared by mechanical means such as diamond grinding or milling and subsequent vacuuming of the surface.

Due to the low thickness of the coating (2-3mm), higher levels of support leveling are required. Cementitious surfaces and supports of different absorption will be primed with PRIMER

P541 or ESTILPOX P100, sprinkling saturated quartz aggregate on the fresh layer; excess

aggregate will be removed the next day.

If the substrate presents humidity due to groundwater or capillary rise, we recommend

not using our system as said humidity would cause its destruction.

Conservation Approx. 12 months in dry places in its original package.

Base Water

60 sqft over 160gram mesh in 2 coats (required for floors)

Consumption 1,5-2,5Kg / m per coat.

Use

Mix Microestil PLUS GRUESO with clean water or pigmented with Microestil COLOR

TONER, using a low-speed mixer until a homogeneous and lump-free mass is obtained, let it rest for 10 minutes and then mix again on low speed for 30 seconds. The mixture can be used for 1 hour, after that time the excess mixture will be discarded. The ambient temperature must be between 10ₒC and 30ₒC.

Pour the mortar in small quantities and then apply in a thin layer with a smooth trowel. The interval between coats must be at least 2 hours. Maximum thickness per layer 3mm.

We recommend sealing the Microestil  liners with the system products.

Cleaning After using the tools, they should be cleaned immediately with water.

Cautions

Contains cement, reacts alkaline, protect skin and eyes. In case of contact, rinse with plenty of water. In case of contact with the eyes, also visit a doctor. Once hardened it is harmless.
